                  Association’s Eczema: Tools for School 

It is a kit designed to help parents and educators give children with eczema the best possible school experience.

Today, more than one million school-age children in the United States are suffering from severe eczema (also known as atopic dermatitis). Eczema is a chronic disease that causes itchy, inflamed skin. Although eczema is not contagious, symptoms like scaling, rashes and open sores can cause social and emotional issues that make life even more difficult for young children already dealing with a challenging disease. Both guides offer ideas for taking positive action to improve the lives of those with eczema.

The onset of Tourette Syndrome (TS) is often subtle, but the impact can be striking and difficult for all members of the family.  While there is no know cure for Tourette Syndrome, there is both hope and help.  The Tourette Association of America has pursued a vision of creating a better environment for the family and individual affected by Tourette Syndrome and Tic Disorders.

Khan Academy Kids is a free, fun, educational program designed to inspire young children to become learners for life. The robust Khan Academy Kids curriculum and original content make learning engaging and fun for children ages .two to seven.

Early learning program focuses on a narrow skill, their free program contains a breadth of learning materials across math, language arts, and social-emotional learning, aligned to the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework and Common Core.

                        Khan Academy Reading

ELA practice exercises for 3rd – 12th grade reading comprehension. Aligned to Common Core State Standards for Reading: Literature.

Length: 26-28 passage-based questions (divided into four reading passages). Subject matter: Four passages are drawn from four areas: Law, Social Science, Science, and Humanities. Three of the passages will ask you questions about a single text.
